It started with a girl called Lindsey (not like that). She said, “hey, why don’t you write for this lot? They like music and they’re trying to help people.” So I did. Then I started mangling their website, and then when they launched a swanky new magazine via Topman (RESET, check it out here) they came looking for a capable and creative individual to edit it. When they couldn’t find one they picked me.
Meanwhile, I went running now and again. Having done the London Marathon in 2002 and not trained for it properly, I felt like I had unfinished business. And so, like an actor trying to save their career by returning to EastEnders, I’m making a comeback.
Put the two together and here we are. Me and my ballot-place-obtained mate Rich are fit and ready and will almost certainly leave the pub in time to make the start. So all we need now is you.
