And so it was… I found myself at home in my pyjamas with a cup of nettle tea with Radio 4 on during fresher’s week. It was the fact that I was actually rather content with this that led me to believe I may have been getting old. The thing is, I can’t really imagine being a proper ‘grown up’, and being responsible and stuff. I’m still pretty immature and probably living in a dream world. Sometimes, I wonder if I will ever accept reality, gradually or overnight on my 40th birthday. When the time comes, I’ll probably just pretend to be mature and responsible, whilst sordidly watching Octonauts on iPlayer whenever I can in a bid to hold onto my youth.
