‘Every Man’ illustrations: Clubbing

‘Every Man’ illustrations

One seems to enter a strange state when clubbing, it is a state dependant on various factors such as one’s financial situation and mood. In no other situation would I have several bottles of WKD, or dance non-stop for four and a half hours whilst experiencing feelings of such jubilation upon hearing Backstreet Boys, being followed immediately by Take That. I have also been victim to the odd existential crisis in a club, amplified by the sticky floors and artificial berry-ish flavour on my tongue. When this happens I just resign myself, the question of where my life is going is subsumed into a blue and green haze as I find myself singing along, “Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your…”
