HALLOWEEN SET TO BE ‘ONE HELL OF A PARTY’…

Halloween is set to be a one hell of a night according to event organisers Halloween Scream.

This year, the Halloween Scream 7 ‘Devil’s Night’ will be held in support of CALM and the prevention of suicide amongst young men.  Although held a day early on the 30th October, the event promises to last long into the night, and see Halloween in.

Hosting this year’s event, Jar Music Live are taking the party to the O2 Academy in Islington, London. Live music will be coming from London rockers Words of Purvis, plus Dorian Grey (Rain on my Parade – Dorian Grey) and long time CALM supporters The Collective.

Continuing into the early hours will be DJ sets from Human Effort and Steve Biggs.

There will be a charity raffle on the night, with some amazing prizes to be won, plus a ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ themed fancy dress competition, so get your devil horns and face paints ready.  In its seventh year, the theme celebrates seven years of mayhem from the event organisers, and is set to be ‘a hell of a good party’ (see what they did there?)

The Collective, explain their personal experience of losing their brother, friend and bassist Lan earlier this year. Gianpiero Gaglione, Lead Singer and Rhythm Guitarist of The Collective:

‘We all felt that if there was anything we could do to help others in a similar position to Lan, this gig would help us honour his memory. In that sense, we fully support the work that CALM do in raising awareness about male depression and suicide, offering support to those vulnerable men, encouraging them to talk.’

The Collective

Inspired by this loss, they wanted to take the opportunity to support the charity in preventing suicide and helping those men who are going through tough times. After taking a break from gigging after tragic loss of Lan, the band saw the importance of this gig, and were motivated to take a stand and spread the CALM message.

Doors open at 7pm, tickets are £8 and can be bought on Ticketweb HERE
