We are all incredible beings, and there’s no shame in feeling a little down every now and then. There is a place, and there are people, you can turn to when you feel like there isn’t. That place is CALM.

Most people see mental illness as a fundamental flaw in your personality. The psychological equivalent of the drunk on the train carriage.
“Much of the wonder of our lives has gone and, in place, we have facts and scientific explanations”
Our son had a traumatic brain injury aged 7, and we discovered after his death from his ex-girlfriend that he had been impotent. According to her, he would not seek help from a doctor, and he never told us.
Any financial support you can give is hugely appreciated. We aren't funded by Government, and frankly struggle for every penny to keep our helpline going. We've recently been able to expand our helpline opening hours to seven days a week, and that was purely down to public donations. It costs us about £3,500 to run the helpline for a week as is, so if you can give even a little regularly, that would be fantastic.
Huge thanks.
