We are constantly amazed and humbled by the amount of lovely folk who take on a whole range of remarkable endeavours to raise money for CALM. From sky dives, to live gigs, the list is ever growing, so below are a selection of upcoming fundraising events happening across the country.
Our support from the public has tripled in the past year, and has meant that we now have the means to expand our helpline service to 7 days a week. YOU did that, and we cannot tell you how grateful we are. With continued support we can eventually expand nationwide. We’re a way off yet, but nothing’s impossible!!

MAY 5th – dLO presents NB Audio vs Hocus Pocus
Leading lights of Manchester’s Drum and Bass scene are coming together for a night of banging beats and fundraising for CALM, to mark the launch of new record label NB Audio. Featuring Snap Shot, Dawn Raid, Nian Dub and loads more, head down to Sound Control, Manchester for what promises to be a massive night.
Tickets £5 in advance, £7 on the door, £8 after 1am. All profits to CALM.

Jun 15th – Mucky Fingers presents a live band night in aid of CALM, Chester.
Friends of Danny Lunt have come together to host a brilliant night of live music in his memory and to raise money for CALM.

Jul 14th – British 10k London Run
We saw an unprecedented 100 runners pound the streets of London for CALM in the British 10k London run 2012 and hope to get even more people involved this year. A fantastic route taking you past some of London’s most iconic landmarks, this 10k is like no other in the UK. From elite runners to people in chicken suits, everyone is welcome to take part in what is always a brilliant day for both participants and supporters. Sept 7th - Nelson’s Tour De Test Valley Cycle Sportive. Grateley, Hampshire
Get your lycra on, dust off those cycle clips and take part in this brand new cycle sportive in memory of pro snowboarder Nelson Pratt. Taking in some of the most spectacular views in Southern England, the Tour De Test Valley offers 40k, 18k and 160k routes, all officially verified in association with British Cycling. With all the support and refreshment you could possibly need to fuel those aching legs, the Tour De Test Valley, in association with Vans and Twinings, is set to become a huge yearly event in the CALM fundraising calendar for people of all fitness levels and ages. Everyone is welcome!

We don’t have any spots in the London Marathon, i’m afraid, but we do have places in the Nike London 10k in July. We don’t tend to buy places for the big running events, but people do often enter independently and then raise money for us that way. Alternatively, if there is a particular event you would be interested in taking part in for us, please let us know and we can see what we can arrange in terms of places. Some more events coming up that you might want to get involved in are the Tough Mudder Challenge in May or the Tour De Test Valley cycle sportive in September.
