A remarkable short film about one man’s mission to raise awareness of suicide and depression across the USA, one step at a time.

CALM has shown us that we must acknowledge and do what we can to tackle what is the now the biggest killer of young men in the UK, suicide. CALM gives the reassurance that there is somewhere that can offer support before things get too much.
“I’m more likely to find a treadmill in the corner of the gym, and attempt to drown out the banal dance tunes blaring from the gym’s speakers with my own equally questionable music.”
“I know that the services are under a huge strain, but one little phone call or email giving me the slightest hint at what the fuck is going on does seem logistically possible.”
Any financial support you can give is hugely appreciated. We aren't funded by Government, and frankly struggle for every penny to keep our helpline going. We've recently been able to expand our helpline opening hours to seven days a week, and that was purely down to public donations. It costs us about £3,500 to run the helpline for a week as is, so if you can give even a little regularly, that would be fantastic.
