‘Every Man’ illustrations: Chatting up Girls

‘Every Man’ illustrations

by Chris Sav

Don’t miss our regular Friday fun!

This Friday, its all about guys chatting up girls and chat up lines that may or may not work…

Chris Sav shares his experience:

“‘What do you do?’ is often a question posed to me that I never seem to be able to answer without a series of indistinguishable mutterings that contain the words ‘artist’ and ‘writer’ – vague terms at the best of times, and even more so when uttered with an uncertain air that I am often guilty of. However, these are the words I have clung onto since I graduated two years ago. It would be perhaps more accurate to say that;  ‘I do illustrations, installations , performances and stories that take an absurd perspective on the seemingly banal happenings within everyday life. This framework is made up of failure, disappointment, awkwardness  and humour within these tragedies. I have also been known to build foam board kitchens that contain crazy whisks, and I also write and perform with an absurdist, audience immersive theatre company known as Wind-Up Collective.’ By the time I have finished saying all this, the person has already walked away…”

Be back next Friday for more of Chris Sav’s illustrative fun!
