Disappointman: Decision Time Part 2

“January is usually the month where one is under pressure to ‘sort one’s life out,’ to apply for jobs and perhaps create a whole new approach to everyday life. Using those familiar and uninspiring CV terms just left me feeling cold and unsatisfied, so after I sent off my application, I did a drawing of a celeriac having an existential crisis and immediately felt better. I don’t quite know what point I’m trying to make my telling this particular anecdote, but let’s say that the point is that celeriac is an underrated root vegetable, so beat those January blues by eating more of it.”
