DISAPPOINTMAN: Online Ennui
“Many a time have I found myself embarking on an online journey to sort my life out by looking for jobs, only to find myself wandering the realms of my inbox, Facebook timeline and twitter feed. Hours go by before I realise that I’ve turned into a zombie, resigned to clicking the refresh icon for eternity. At these times I just have to drag myself away and do anything else to make the day seem worthwhile, like going for a run, or recording a cover version of a One Direction song… you know, like whatever.”
