Amateur Muay Thai kickboxer, Lewis Kahraman, has been training for his inaugural fight, with the help of trainer Junior Herbert, in memory of his friend Onder Koyel and below you can watch his training video, raising awareness of CALM.

Junior Herbert said “This was Lewis’s professional debut at Muay Thai Kickboxing. He was fighting for the Cambridge Thai Boxing Academy (CTBA) against Tom Oistins of Unit One Gym in a C Class fight of 3 x 2min rounds. It was a great debut for him and very emotional as you can imagine, with his friend’s memory at the forefront of his thoughts. After three exciting rounds of action the judges could not split the fighters and a draw was the verdict. To get through his first fight with the emotions he was under  was a victory in itself for Lewis and the shorts he wore for the fight said as much.”

All the students at CTBA were happy to support Lewis and CALM, plus the promotor of the show, Nigel Thompson, made a genorous donation to CALM on the night.  A HUGE thanks and congratulations to Lewis and to everyone for their ongoing support and generous donations.
