Marcus and the Nelson’s Tour De Test Valley team are busy putting together a fantastic cycle sportive in the stunning Hampshire countryside on Sept 7th. In memory of Nelson Pratt, this new sportive is set to become a regular event in the cycling diary, so get your lycra on, sign up and help raise money for CALM! Here’s their latest blog:
“Hey there everyone!
Couple of quick bits of news…
CAMPING ON FRIDAY NIGHT: We are offering free camping at RIDE HQ in Grateley on the Friday night before the event, this means anyone that has a bit of a journey can get to the start night before, no need for crazy early start then. We are providing showers (hot we promise!), toilets and you’ll be able to buy brekkie on site from 7am – and yes that means bacon sarnies. You’ll also be able to pick up your numbers and sign in to save doing it in the morning.
BIKE HIRE: Anyone looking to hire a good bike for the event can do it through the guys at British Bike Hire. If your interested in doing this email Tony on tony@britishbikehire.co.uk and he’ll sort you out, they offer a great service. For all the details check out www.britishbikehire.co.uk
Spread the word with family and friends and twist their arms to get them entered. Any questions give me a shout through the Tour de Test Valley site.
Thanks loads and for the support, really look forward to seeing you all in Sept.
Marcus & TdeTV Team.”
