It’s the biggest comedy arts festival in the world, so it makes perfect sense that Short Com should be a part of it. Short Com is a not-for-profit comedy short film programme with the aim of showcasing and promoting the funniest independently made films on a big screen to a live audience. Short Com has been gradually building an audience for itself and a strong reputation for selecting some of the funniest short films. The main aim for the end of 2013 is to raise £1000 for CALM. It’s possibly the only film festival at the Fringe and it perfectly blends the two art forms of comedy and film together.
Short Com will be playing at the City Night Club at 13:00-14:00 August 4-9th 11th-16th and 18th – 23rd as part of the PBH Free Fringe. 1A Market Street Edinburgh, EH1 1DE
Excitingly, Short Com will be supported and presented by various new and big name comedy acts throughout the month. Short Com is run by volunteers and is looking for more volunteers to help out in any capacity. If anyone is interested get in touch with Chris through the website.
