CALM Creates a Storm in a (free) Tea Cup at Secret Garden Party

We were chuffed to have been invited by organiser and Head Gardener, Freddie Fellowes, to host a free Tea & Secrets Tent at Secret Garden Party festival 2014 for the second year running.  Providing a welcome respite from one the more hedonistic of UK festivals, we served up over 3000 free cups of tea and 4000 biscuits to an appreciative crowd, as well as providing the only opportunity across the weekend to chill out over a game of Cluedo….

Once again we took along CALM’s Wall Of Secrets, where Gardeners had the opportunity to anonymously share their deepest secrets or proudest moments on our special tags, which proved to be a resounding success, showcasing a huge variety of secrets from the sublime to the ridiculous.

We couldn’t have done it without the hard work and dedication of an awesome team of volunteers, so enormous thanks to Steph, Stewart, Michaela, Mike, Chris, Stacey, Graham, Hannah, Sana, Cecilia, Jack, Izzy, Emily, Lucy and Jojo without whose help we would have been little more than a puddle of cold tea on the floor.

We’d also like to say thanks to BMB, Yorkshire Tea and IPC Media for their generosity and support, as well as a HUGE CALM-style high five to Freddie Fellowes and Eddy Temple-Morris for inviting us in to the fold.  Here’s to CALM’s tea tent 2015!
