Topshop and Topman have once again teamed up with CALM, but this time to put on a week of spooky Halloween fundraisers for their staff at their Oxford Circus flagship store. From Halloween-themed movies at lunchtime to a clear-out sale of creative props, staff poured in to support CALM and raise awareness of the issue of male suicide. There were samplings of Red Bull and Popchips, as well as a rather large Halloween cake generously donated by Lola’s, who also provided cakes for the delicious Friday bake sale. BeautyMART were on site applying Glitter Lips to anyone and everyone, and people went bananas for the store’s mascot, the 214 monkey, (see his own personal Instagram account @the214monkey).
Huge shout out to our CALM volunteers who headed down for a day, looking dashing in their Save The Male tees, to spread awareness of the campaign and to show our appreciation to Topshop for putting on this bonanza of a week. The total amount raised was an amazing £1303.73, which will help us fund well over 200 calls to our helpline.
Thank you to all Topshop and Topman staff – we love you!
