Eco-friendly yoga clothing brand, OHMME launches Stillness In Motion – awareness workshops in aid of CALM.
On Friday 2nd March at triyoga Soho, London, OHMME will host a men’s workshop, Stillness In Motion – integrating yoga, meditation and a group conversation.
The workshop aims to give men the tools to practice living a balanced life for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through yoga, meditation and group work. The yoga and meditation will be lead by Howard Napper, who has over 20 years experience in working with the body, and the group work will be led by Jono Condous, who has over a decade of experience in men’s personal development.
“The goal of these workshops is to allow men to reconnect to themselves and one another, exploring the current ideals of manhood. At present, the idea of exposing ‘weakness’ is one of the hardest things for a man to accept, as ancestrally ‘weakness’ may have led to your death. However, that feeling of weakness is usually a call from your body to reach out to other men who you can trust.” Jono Condous
The workshop is suitable for beginners and all abilities. Tickets cost £25.00 with all proceeds supporting CALM. OHMME will provide on-going support to all attendees through a Facebook community.
