Save The Male! With Jordan Stephens, Caleb Femi and Hugh

Guess who's back? Cecilia and Jack! CALM ambassadors Jack Rooke and Cecilia Knapp bring their winning formula of comedy, poetry and music (and a few surprises) to Ace Hotel, Shoreditch on Thursday 19 January.

The Save The Male showcase aims to raise awareness of male suicide and encourage and inspire people of all ages to engage in creative expression. On "the most depressing week of the year", comedian Jack and poet Cecilia will gather an exceptionally talented crew to show that creativity can be the best medicine. Check the massive lineup and grab your tickets on the link below:

A phenomenal writer and lyricist, Jordan is one half of UK hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks. He returns to Save The Male after making his spoken word debut at the show, and joining the crew at their Edinburgh Fringe show in 2016. In October, Jordan launched the #IAMWHOLE campaign with YMCA and NHS, an anti-stigma campaign to raise awareness surrounding mental health issues in young people.

Caleb Femi is the Young People's Laureate for London. As a poet, Caleb's commissions include the Tate Mordern, The Royal Society for Literature, Lit Festival and the Guardian. Caleb has graced major stages such as the Roundhouse mainstage, Barbican, British Library, Royal Festival Hall. He has also opened up for Lianne La Havas and has performed at many festivals including Latitude, Ed Fringe, Boomtown, Lovebox and Greenbelt. Caleb has also won the Roundhouse Poetry Slam and Genesis Poetry Slam and is currently working on a debut pamphlet.

Bringing the tunes, this London based 4 piece band create mesmerising, ambient and soulful electronic pop.
