About the 2026 Great North Run
Grab your spot on the start line of the world's biggest half marathon, famous for it's warm Geordie welcome and unbeatable atmosphere.
You'll kick off the iconic 13.1 mile route in the heart of Newcastle, crossing the Tyne Bridge and through the vibrant streets of Gateshead. It's a strong finish on the stunning coastline of South Shields, where an unforgettable half marathon celebration awaits!
How to enter
- Get a CALM Charity Place: There is a £35 registration fee and £350 fundraising target.

How we’ll support you
Whether it’s your first time taking on the Great North Run or you’re back for more, we’re here to make sure you have the best time. As part of Team CALM you’ll receive:
