About the event
A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime. There are full marathon and half marathon options, both starting and finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground, taking in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks. There's also a free winter bobble hat and neck buff, rest stops with snacks, plus a special medal and hot food at the finish.

• The Full Marathon – 42km figure of 8 starting & finishing at the Oval Cricket Ground
• The Half Marathon - 21km East or West loop past Tower Bridge to Southwark Park
• The 10K Challenge – 10km the Thames loop, start & finish at the Oval Cricket Ground
How to enter
Charity Sponsorship - pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and CALM cover the cost of your event place - sign up now
- Marathon - £30 registration fee and £300 fundraising target
- Half Marathon - £20 registration fee and £225 fundraising target
- 10KM Walk - £10 registration and £150 fundraising target
Get 25% off your registration fee by selecting CALM as your chosen charity when you sign up.
Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and have a lower fundraising target - sign up now
- Marathon - £50 registration fee and £150 fundraising target
- Half Marathon - £40 registration fee and £120 fundraising target
- 10KM Walk - £25 registration and £75 fundraising target
Self Fund / Own Place - you pay the full cost of the event place and fundraise whatever you want - sign up now
- Marathon - £99 registration fee
- Half Marathon - £75 registration fee
- 10KM Walk - £49 registration fee

Event accessibility
Visually impaired participants are welcome and usually take part with someone supporting them on the route. There may be a discounted charge for this to cover event costs such as food etc. Event sites are generally in playing fields or outdoor areas on flat land. For spectators, there is limited wheelchair access, and this can vary on the day depending on ground conditions.
