What is MAKE NOISE, SAVE LIVES?

CALM is here to break the silence around suicide prevention. And you can play your part too. We’re challenging you to MAKE NOISE and SAVE LIVES, by raising the volume on the conversation, as well as raising life-saving cash in aid of CALM.

How do I MAKE NOISE, SAVE LIVES?

However you want (within reason!). Do your thing, your way. At a time and place that works for you and your crew.

Come together. Host a charity match. Have a cook-off. Do a team relay. LITERALLY ANYTHING but staying quiet.

Break the silence. Smash the stigma. MAKE NOISE, SAVE LIVES.

  • Group of 4 men playing in the KASGA golf event

    KASGA

On the longest day of the year, they’ll be taking on 90 holes of golf - a powerful challenge that reflects a devastating reality: every 90 minutes, someone dies by suicide in the UK. But this is bigger than one challenge. KASGA is rallying its members, sparking conversations that matter, and challenging other golf clubs like yours to step up and do the same. Because when a community like this comes together, it doesn’t just MAKE NOISE - it helps SAVE LIVES.

KASGA ISN’T STAYING QUIET THIS YEAR - THEY’RE STEPPING UP AND MAKING NOISE WHERE IT MATTERS MOST.

    Baby Rhinos

After losing his brother Seb, Marcus brought people together - turning grief into something so powerful. That’s how the Baby Rhinos began. Alongside his friend George, he formed a team to enter a local rugby match - but it became so much more than a game. It became a powerful show of community, with people coming together to make noise and raise funds for suicide prevention. And they’re not stopping there. The Baby Rhinos will be back - bigger, louder, and continuing to MAKE NOISE, SAVE LIVES.

"I’VE LOVED BRINGING THE BABY RHINOS TOGETHER AND PUTTING CALM’S NAME OUT THERE. FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOU — YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I WILL TALK, WE WILL LISTEN.”

    Connor Brown

University student, Connor, is taking on 18 consecutive 5ks totalling 90km. His efforts represent the 18 people who die by suicide every day in the UK. Thats 1 person every 90 minutes. But this isn’t something he’s doing alone. Connor is inviting fellow students to join his runs and raise vital funds for CALM along the way. It’s about more than the miles. It’s about showing up, speaking out, and reminding people they’re not alone. Connor is helping to MAKE NOISE, SAVE LIVES - one step, one conversation, and one run at a time.

CONNOR IS TURNING EVERY STEP INTO SOMETHING THAT MATTERS.

    Friends in low places

Loyal CALM supporter, Jamie Neylan loves nothing more than literally MAKING NOISE and SAVING LIVES. Bringing people together through their shared love of music, Jamie’s gig ‘Friends in low places’ is raising the roof, as well as raising life-saving funds. It’s far more than just the music; it’s the sense of togetherness, the shared experience and smashing the suicide stigma one tune at a time.

TAKING THE POWER OF LISTENING TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL.

    The CALM Crusaders

The CALM Crusaders is all about MAKING NOISE and SAVING LIVES. It was never just about rugby. They were created in 2019, in the midst of grief, for John “Sully” Sullivan. What started as remembrance has become a movement. On muddy or rock-hard pitches, people come together not just to play, but to talk, to listen, and to remind each other that what they’re carrying doesn’t have to be carried alone.

THE CALM CRUSADERS HAVE BUILT A COMMUNITY GROUNDED IN HONESTY AND CONNECTION, ONE THAT ACTIVELY CHALLENGES SILENCE AND STIGMA.
