Dry January - Could you give up alcohol for a month and get family and friends to sponsor you?

20 January - National Cheese Lovers Day. Hold a cheese night or play guess the cheese.

25 January - Burns Night
2 February - Six Nations start. Why not organise a sweepstake with friends or colleagues.

13 February - Pancake Day. How about seeing who can flip the most pancakes in a minute and ask contestants to donate to enter.

14 February - Valentine’s Day
7 March - World Book Day. Book Club anyone?

17 March - St Patrick’s Day. Could you get everyone to dress in green for the day?

20 March - International Day of Happiness

April - Stress Awareness Month. What about a pamper party in exchange for donations

1 April - April Fools Day. Play a prank on someone's behalf in exchange for a donation

22 April - Earth Day
13 - 19 May - Mental Health Awareness Week. The ideal time to remind people about your fundraising for CALM and that every £8 they donate could fund a call to our helpline, each of which could save a life

29 May - National Biscuit Day
2 June - National Fish and Chips Day. The perfect excuse to host a chippy tea and ask for donations to join in (bigger donation = more chips!)

14 June - Men's Euros start. Who doesn't love a sweepstake. Let people choose their country for a bigger donation.

1 July - International Joke Day. Could you organise a comedy night?

16 July - World Ice Cream Day

26 July - Summer Olympics starts
8 August - International Cat Day

31 August - National Burger Day. Prime time for a summer BBQ.
2 September - World Beard Day

10 September - World Suicide Prevention Day. Anyone can feel suicidal, but we can all do something to make a difference. This is a great day to shout about your challenge and why you are supporting CALM's life-saving work!

21 September - World Gratitude Day

1 October - National Hair Day. Could you brave the shave?

10 October - World Mental Health Day. THE day of the year to make a big song and dance about your fundraiser and why CALM's work is so important.
1 November - World Vegan Day

5 November - Bonfire Night. Sparklers at the ready, host a fireworks party for your neighbourhood or friends.
3 December - Giving Tuesday

9 December - Christmas Jumper Day

25 December - Christmas Day. You could ask for donations in lieu of gifts.
