About the event
A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kickstart your New Year fitness regime. There are full marathon and half marathon options, both starting and finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground, taking in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks.
How to enter
Charity Sponsorship - pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and CALM cover the cost of your event place
- Full marathon - £10 registration fee and £255 fundraising target
- Half marathon - £7.50 registration fee and £155 fundraising target
As a CALM participant, you'll get 25% off your registration fee.
Mixed Funding - pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place and have a lower fundraising target
- Full marathon - £39.50 registration fee and £120 fundraising target
- Half marathon - £29.50 registration fee and £100 fundraising target
Self Fund - you pay the full cost of the event place and fundraise whatever you want
- Full marathon - £79 registration fee
- Half marathon - £59 registration fee
- 10KM - £37.50 registration fee

Visually impaired participants are welcome and usually take part with someone supporting them on the route. There may be a discounted charge for this to cover event costs such as food etc. Event sites are generally in playing fields or outdoor areas on flat land. For spectators, there is limited wheelchair access, and this can vary on the day depending on ground conditions.
