Kingdom Of Us: screening and Q&A panel

Tue 11th September 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Last year, the powerful and personal BAFTA-nominated documentary Kingdom Of Us was released into the world. It details a story of loss, bereavement and of a family’s journey through poignant childhood memories. On September 11th in London, CALM will join with the Shanks family and Pulse Films to screen the film and host a panel discussion – and you’re invited.

Paul Shanks took his own life in 2007. Through Kingdom Of Us – the documentary directed by Lucy Cohen – the story of his wife and seven children’s collective grief is told.

On September 11th – the day after World Suicide Prevention Day – at Everyman Cinema in Hampstead, there will be a screening of the film followed by a Q&A panel with the Shanks family hosted by writer, mental health campaigner and good friend of CALM, Paul McGregor.

Entry is FREE but limited, so be quick to RSVP to amber.little@pulsefilms.co.uk.
