One of Europe’s largest half marathons and Wales’ largest mass participation fundraising event, the Cardiff Half passes all of the city’s most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and Cardiff Bay.
How to enter
Charity places
Join Team CALM by registering on our Run for Charity page. There is a £20 registration fee (plus Run for Charity's admin fee) and a £300 fundraising pledge.
You must be aged 17+ on the event day to take part.
Got your own place?
If you’ve already got your own place in the Cardiff Half, we’d love to have you on Team CALM! There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can.

Whether it’s your first time running or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ll be right there with you every step of the way. We’ll make sure you have a fantastic experience being on Team CALM. When you join our team, you’ll receive:
Fundraising and training advice and resources
CALM kit so you can look the part
Access to our CALM Running Club Facebook group
A dedicated Fundraising Team to support you
Event accessibility
A carer, guide or support runner is eligible for free entry. To do this, contact maria.waldron@run4wales.org to request this, stating the name of the event you wish to participate in. Wheelchairs (self-propelled or supported) are welcome.
