Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ve put together seven small actions that will have a big impact. Because taking small actions now means we can all help prevent suicide in the future.

Tuesday

Actually check in on a mate. If you think a mate might be struggling, drop them a WhatsApp, ask if they fancy a catch-up or leave them a voicenote to see how they’re doing.

Sunday

Sign up for a challenge. A 5k or a sponsored silence… it can be as big or as small as you want. You do what works for you to raise money for our life-saving services.

We act our way into feeling better, bit by bit.

"Studies show that it’s the small actions we come back to each day that have the biggest impact on our mental health. It’s not about big change—it’s about what’s repeatable—getting outside, messaging a friend, taking a moment to breathe. We act our way into feeling better, bit by bit. And that’s really hopeful, because these are things we can all do, every day." - Wendy, CALM’s Director of Services
