Didn't get to celebrate his 18th birthday
Samuel was a funny, charming, bright, and articulate boy. He was a talented writer and musician, and this provided an outlet for his observations on life. He had so much potential to lead a rich and creative life.
Samuel died one month before his 18th birthday. He struggled with suicidal thoughts for a long time. We tried our hardest to keep him alive. He is so loved and missed.
One week after Samuel's funeral we went to the pub to toast our boy's first legal drink on what would have been his 18th birthday.
