About the event
Part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, the Edinburgh 10K takes runners through the stunning surroundings of Holyrood Park. Starting and finishing near Dynamic Earth, this route offers striking panoramic views of the city and Edinburgh Castle.
How to enter
Charity places
Apply for one of our charity places by submitting an application on the Edinburgh 10K website. There is £20 registration fee and £100 fundraising pledge.
You must be aged 15+ on the event day to take part.
Got your own place?
If you’ve already got your own place in Edinburgh 10K, we’d love to have you on Team CALM! There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can. Join Team CALM here.
How we’ll support you
Whether it’s your first time running or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ll be right there with you every step of the way. We’ll make sure you have a fantastic experience being on Team CALM. When you join our team, you’ll receive:

CALM kit so you can look the part

A dedicated Fundraising Team to support you
Event accessibility
A carer, guide or support runner is eligible for a free entry. To do this, support runners should create a MyRunning account with the Edinburgh 10K to apply for a place, and contact the event organisers before the payment stage in order to receive free entry.
Wheelchairs and handbike users are welcome. Anyone taking part in a wheelchair or handbike must be self-propelled for the entire race.
