Part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, the Edinburgh 5K offers a picturesque route around Holyrood Park with stunning panoramic views of the city and Edinburgh Castle.
How to enter
Charity places
Join Team CALM by applying on the Edinburgh 5K 2024 website and we'll then send you a registration form to secure your place. There is £10 registration fee and £75 fundraising pledge.
You must be aged 11+ on the event day to take part.
Got your own place?
If you’ve already got your own place in the Edinburgh 5K, we’d love to have you on Team CALM! There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can. Use your own place to join Team CALM.

Whether it’s your first time running or you’re a seasoned pro, we’ll be right there with you every step of the way. We’ll make sure you have a fantastic experience being on Team CALM. When you join our team, you’ll receive:

A dedicated Fundraising Team to support you
Event accessibility
A carer, guide or support runner is eligible for a free entry. To do this, support runners should create a MyRunning account with the Edinburgh 5K to apply for a place, and contact the event organisers before the payment stage in order to receive free entry.
Wheelchairs and handbike users are welcome. Anyone taking part in a wheelchair or handbike must be self-propelled for the entire race.
