The fast and flat marathon course is ideal for first time marathon runners or those looking for a new PB.
The route takes in some of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks as well as offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline.

Get a charity place now. There is a £35 registration fee and £500 fundraising target.
Got your own place?
If you’ve already got your own place in the Edinburgh Marathon, we’d love to have you on Team CALM! There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can. Use your own place to join Team CALM.

Event accessibility
A carer, guide or support runner is eligible for a free entry. To do this, support runners should create a MyRunning account with the Edinburgh Marathon to apply for a place, and contact the event organisers before the payment stage in order to receive free entry.
Wheelchairs and handbike users are welcome. Anyone taking part in a wheelchair or handbike must be self-propelled for the entire race.
