The Mental Health World Cup is the UK's biggest and best community-led 5-a-side footy tournament.
The concept is simple: One day; 40 teams; Amazing football. Oh, and a whole lot of cash and awareness raised in memory of MHWC founder Giancarlo's brother, Lanfranco.
The Mental Health World Cup takes place at QPR's home ground each year, and new for 2024 will feature separate men's and women's world cup tournaments as well as a celebrity match to end the day!
We recommend eight people - enough for a couple of subs. Then purchase one of the 25 teams available via the public sale for £250 (£100 for the Women's tournament) to register your team via the button below.
The £250 will be added to your fundraising target and donated to CALM.
Once you’ve paid your £250 registration fee, we’ll ask you to set up a JustGiving fundraising page. You'll then need to raise £2000 (£1000 for the women's tournament) by the end of February 2024 to secure your place in the tournament.
Don't worry, CALM will be here all the way til kick off to help you with your fundraising and provide any support or inspiration you might need.
If you miss your target, you'll have the option to pay the outstanding balance, or defer your position for a refund. Teams on the waiting list will then have the opportunity to purchase the team outright.
When you’ve raised £2,000 and secured your place at MHWC 2024, recruit your supporters for the day. We have QPR’s stadium to fill and a fun filled day of activities for all ages - so bring your family, friends and colleagues to cheer you on.
Also, the teams who raise the most money will get special prizes. So, ask the people around you to dig deep!
