Since it’s launch in 2019, Lost Hours Walk has been a chance for us to come together to take a stand against suicide. We’re so grateful that you’ve been a part of its history.

Right now the charity sector is facing unprecedented challenges, and in an ever changing world, CALM has to change with it. This year, we're taking a break from Lost Hours Walk to try something new and we’d love you to be part of that.

Our recent Facebook Challenges have already brought together thousands of people, to closed Facebook groups where they’re fundraising, sharing stories, motivating each other and remembering their loved ones through an engaged online community.

We know that our decision that we are taking a break from Lost Hours Walk might be disappointing news for you and your community and that a lot of you have made Lost Hours Walk part of how you remember a loved one. If you’d still like to incorporate a walk or CALM presence into your plans, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

There are still lots of ways that you are able to this:

  1. Organise your own CALM walk or memorial event by registering here

  2. Take on our Facebook Challenge

  3. Sign up to a CALM Challenge

Right now, the charity sector is facing some tough times, and CALM needs to adapt and make hard choices about how we use our time and resources.

Currently, our primary focus is on our successful Facebook challenges, such as “62 Miles in March” and “90 Miles in June.” These initiatives have already united thousands of people in dedicated Facebook groups, where participants are fundraising, sharing stories, motivating each other, and honoring their loved ones within a supportive online community.

Our goal for this year is to keep running these Facebook Challenges, at the same time, we’re constantly reviewing the status of the Lost Hours Walk event.

Absolutely, our dedicated team of fundraisers are still on hand to support your event.
