Corporate Partners
(Past and Present)

In 4+ years of partnership, LNER has raised a whopping £400,000 for CALM. All thanks to off-the-chart energy, creativity and support from their customers and colleagues.

Nothing’s too niche. Think surprisingly chic printed facemasks, a ‘Cooking for CALM’ lockdown cookbook, and raising £50k auctioning vintage train nameplates. And when they’re not on trains, they’re pulling on their trainers – taking on the Great North Run, Edinburgh and Leeds Half Marathons, and our Lost Hours Walk.

Their customers are a generous lot, too. Between donating Delay Repay compensation and LNER loyalty scheme credit, they’ve contributed almost £200k.

What LNER said

  • Craig McNally, Community Partnerships Manager at LNER

“It’s really important we have a partnership that resonates with our people – and CALM does just that. What makes the partnership so successful is the team at CALM are a joy to work with. They’re always happy to support with new ideas and new ways to engage the business.”

  • David Horne, Managing Director of LNER

“It’s truly inspiring to see how our customers, colleagues and communities have united to raise this tremendous amount of money – and I’m immensely proud that it will help CALM continue its vital work, supporting people when they need it most.”

What do you get when you mix CALM with BMW? A cracking partnership. It’s a multi-year collaboration with a big goal – raising £100,000 each year. And they’re getting seriously involved. Guest talks and CALM-led mental wellbeing workshops. Family days and quiz nights. Puppy days and photography competitions – together? We hope so.

They’ve even taken CALM to the green PGA Tour at Wentworth, and not just for a day out. The week raised £80,000 for our life-saving work, with volunteer support from all corners of BMW.

WHAT BMW SAID

  • Sharmila Kupfuwa, Head of Health Management, BMW Group UK.

"I’m so pleased we have your support with the sessions you offer, in a way that’s engaging and meaningful to our young people."

  • Graham Biggs, Corporate Communications Director, BMW Group UK.

"Having worked with many charities over the years, CALM stands out as especially creative and engaged. They are a pleasure to work with and we’ve seen a powerful resonance with our team across the UK. We’re inspired both by the work they do publicly, and the support they offer within our organisation."

  • Kit Gartrell, Championship Director, European Tour Group

"We’re proud to have supported CALM at the BMW PGA Championship this year – one of our flagship events on the DP World Tour. They were great to work with and their dedicated area in our fan zone was an excellent addition, with thousands of fans getting the chance to learn more about their work, as well as raising vital funds to enable them to provide their life-saving service"

When these award-winning PR-ers chose us as their Charity of the Year, they brought a very special set of skills – lending a hand with social media support and driving awareness for CALM campaigns. In exchange, we ran a set of workshops and seminars, so their teams could help anyone they know who’s struggling.

And as well as some epic bake sales, runs, and their annual STEPtember challenge – they gave the world the Talkathon. Inspired by CALM’s conversation-starting ethos, they encouraged everyone to discuss often-tricky topics including identity, sexuality, mental health, and suicide. Over 24 hours that led to a lot of big conversations. And staff got creative with everything from sign language to calligraphy, and even puppy yoga.
