This photo was taken on the last holiday my mum & dad took together, in France, just a couple of weeks before he took his life.
Dad was a hardworking, dedicated & doting family man. Utterly selfless. He was also a very funny guy and always had a joke to tell or a prank to play on people, which is one of the reasons his suicide came as such a shock. He came across as a very happy, outgoing, lovable man - yet on the inside he was fighting a battle none of us even knew about.
