This photograph was taken at a family meal, just shy of two months before my older brother passed away. It was a wonderful occasion to be together and was the last time we got to spend with Simon. He was in good spirits, as he always was, telling us that he was going to go and sign up to a new golf club with one of his closest friends.
We had gone to an extended family party the evening before and I remember Simon singing, dancing, and joining in with the fun there too. There were no signs of what was to happen, he was always smiling.
