Chris Sav shares his experience:

“‘What do you do?’ is often a question posed to me that I never seem to be able to answer without a series of indistinguishable mutterings that contain the words ‘artist’ and ‘writer’ – vague terms at the best of times, and even more so when uttered with an uncertain air that I am often guilty of. However, these are the words I have clung onto since I graduated two years ago. It would be perhaps more accurate to say that;  ’I do illustrations, installations , performances and stories that take an absurd perspective on the seemingly banal happenings within everyday life. This framework is made up of failure, disappointment, awkwardness  and humour within these tragedies. I have also been known to build foam board kitchens that contain crazy whisks, and I also write and perform with an absurdist, audience immersive theatre company known as Wind-Up Collective.’ By the time I have finished saying all this, the person has already walked away…”
