‘Every Man’ illustrations: Disappointman

‘Every Man’ illustrations

by Chris Sav

This week sees the ‘Every Man’ article take a different approach. It is the first in a series of illustrations based on the superheroes of everyday nuances and awkward moments, and shall have more of a narrative format. While being a bit of a departure from the previous weeks’ drawings, I hope these ones still retain the essence of what they had.

So this week we meet Disappointman, a hero who vows to be productive on a daily basis, but finds himself lacking the will to do anything after encountering his arch nemesis, ennui. Will he emerge victorious? What other crazy, metaphorical villains and allies will he meet along the way? Find out in this week’s episode of ‘Disappointman!’

And if you want to keep up to date with Disappointman’s ongoing struggle with ennui (you probably don’t), then follow him on twitter @Disappointman
