‘Every Man’ illustrations: Broadway Boy

‘Every Man’ illustrations

I often pretend that I’m in a broadway musical in which I make a tea while someone else harmonises ‘soya milk,’ because for some reason I’m still lactose intolerant in this fantasy. The usually awkward action of stirring in the sugar is now part of a complex choreography accompanied by clicking. This week’s illustrations deal with this very fantasy and the idea of one’s aspirations not being taken seriously and subsequently disregarded as mere fancy. It also deals with beans.
