Tomorrow night in Manchester, Short Com aims to showcase best independent short comedy films, pretence free. There are no competitions involved, and anyone can attend, or even enter a piece. All that is asked is that the film is funny. Even better the events are free, with a voluntary donation to CALM at the door!
Chris, the organiser for the event, has chosen to support CALM having experienced the devastating effects of suicide and depression previously, but also because he has heard ‘doing charity makes you attractive to the ladies’. On a more serious note, Chris, has great support for CALM, and would like any profit to go to our charity, which is already making us smile without having seen a single film.
Doors are open to all, so if you’d like to experience some mid-week laughter and happiness, get involved! Short Com will be held in Manchester at exhibition space 2020NQ, on Wednesday 18th July at 7.30pm.
