We’re excited to announce that LYNX and CALM are joining forces to raise awareness of male suicide – with the ultimate aim of stopping it from being the single biggest killer of men aged 20-45. Together we hope to encourage guys to seek help when they need it, by making sure they know that they don’t have to ‘tough it out’ when life gets tough.
From ‘boys don’t cry’ to ‘man up’, male culture can make talking about personal issues hard. LYNX is passionate about helping CALM to break down these barriers, and give guys the confidence to open up without fear of ridicule.
Having made an initial two year commitment to fund much needed additional resources for our CALM helpline, LYNX will also be using its voice to bring even more attention to the fight against male suicide.
David Titman, LYNX Marketing Manager: “We’ve all experienced moments in our life where we’ve felt down or in crisis – it’s something that can happen to anyone − and we’re proud to be working with CALM to find ways to tackle such an incredibly important issue.”
